I am an "empty-nester"(loving it and making the most of it!) with 2 grown daughter(24 & 26 yrs. old).

My house is smoke-free. I do have 2 English Mastiffs...."Max" & "Boomer"(190 lbs. & 210 lbs. = 400 lbs. of dog!).  My books are kept in an upstairs bedroom that is closed off from the dogs.

Besides my love for reading, I have and avid passion for "fast" cars....NASCAR, IRL, NHRA, Formula One, sprint cars and late model dirt track racing.

When pro football season starts I will be cheering on my two favorites...Indianapolis Colts and Brett Favre(Green Bay's loss is New York's gain!!)  As for college football my fav is the Purdue Boilermakers(my alma mater, of course).  And we have the best tailgating parties ever!!

As a  "weekend warrior" I love to go RVing, camping, and outdoor cooking/grilling(tailgating). And when the weather permits, taking weekend rides on the Harley with my hubby.

My favorite genre of books are mystery/thrillers (legal, medical, espionage, and some romantic suspense). I am usually reading two books at a time....I keep 1 in my locker at work to read on breaks & lunches, and another I am reading at home.
